We will not issue LOI, BCL or any other instrument that non-genuine internet sellers tend to require. We are genuine buyers and because of the idiosyncrasies of purchasing via the internet will require sufficient proof that the seller is indeed also genuine and not wasting his time and ours. We do not pay cash or TT. Payment is ONLY by non-transferable LC and require SGS inspections. Our usual procedures are...... 1) Contact us with your offer , CIF Belawan Port (Medan) Indonesia, including inspection cost by SGS or others 2) We conduct due diligence and if accepted we will request a pro-forma invoice. 3) Seller issues a signed and company-stamp endorsed pro-forma invoice 4) We will issue a draft LC from a major international bank for acceptance by the seller 5) When LC conforms to buyers & sellers requirements LC will be issued 6) Seller ships the goods and receives payment on presentation of relevant documents to their bank WE ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH BONAFIDE SCRAP MERCHANTS OR PRODUCERS OF SCRAP (i.e. fabricators). We may request a statement from your bank attesting to the same. It is helpful if you can supply photos of steel scrap on offer and past shipments.
